Renowned Journalist Betty Kyalo on Saturday, June 27, unveiled an improved version of her salon 'Flair With Betty'
In an interview hosted by Felix Odiwuor (Jalang'o), the anchor stated that the salon was fully furnished with a massage parlour, a private VIP room for women, a barbershop and a kids salon.
"I wanted the children to have a place where they can colour and get entertained," Kyalo stated.
Betty's latest move comes just weeks after she lost her job at K24, where she hosted a weekly show. Betty and Jalang’o were among Mediamax star names that allegedly sued the media organisation over plans to slash their salaries by 50%.
Pictures and videos shared on social media showed an all-white high-end two-storey mansion with well-manicured lawns on either side of the main door.
Its interior is properly designed with an array of Betty's photos, her daughter's, Ivanna and her sister's, Gloria, all wearing different kind of hairstyles.
Previously, on her Youtube channel 'Betty Kyalo lately', the journalist disclosed that she was upgrading her business venture to a more spacious and luxurious venue.
She added that she had worked so hard to ensure that her clients got the best saloon experience.
"The last few days have been hectic and when I finally launch the saloon, I will just look for a place and just go and relax, just pat myself on the back.
"I have not been sleeping well, I have been having anxiety, I wake in the middle of the night and wonder if everything is going to be alright," she stated on her page.
Her saloon launch came days after she quit as a news anchor at K24.
"I really appreciate you all. It is now time for me to say goodbye here on K24 TV. Thank you so much for all the support, I appreciate you, God bless you and I love you," she stated after her last show at K24.
