"We have been working on a new project. It terrifies me. I have been telling myself, do it afraid, every day. TV was never in my plan but here we are," read part of her post.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, the media presenter confirmed her latest engagement and offered more details of the new show.

Upon inquiry on whether her new TV deal would mean her exit from the Radio-Africa-owned station, she confirmed the narrative was contrary to that. She confirmed that her fans would still be listening to her on Classic 105.

Furthermore, she noted that the new show will be a joint partnership between KTN and a local company. The new show will be aired live every Wednesday at 8 pm. The debut show is set to air on December 2.

The critically acclaimed presenter is no stranger to the media industry as her career began in 2012 when she hosted a radio show at Family Radio, previously known as Radio 316.

This prompted her to join Homeboyz Academy to refine her radio skills and after the two-year stint, she returned to law school.

After getting her degree, she joined Royal Media Services (RMS) in 2016 where she hosted the Morning Drive alongside Willis Raburu at Hot 96.

One year later, the radio star, who also doubles up as a voice-over artist, jumped ship to Classic 105 where she currently works as a co-host on the Evening Drive - alongside Mike Mondo.

Various radio personalities tend to extend their wings and seek opportunities within the TV landscape. Previous examples include Patricia Kihoro, Shaffie Weru, and Sheila Masinde who have graced the silver screen after working in radio.
