Six family members among them four children have died after a wall collapsed and fell on their house in Kizingo, Mombasa County.
According to witnesses, the victims were trapped in the rubble after a wall adjacent to their house caved in.
Residents claimed that the wall was feeble and toppled over following heavy rains that had pounded the area in the past few weeks.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke on phone, a Red Cross official stated that rescue efforts were still underway by first responders at the scene.
