Presenter Grace Mwai Quits Ngirici's TV Station

Mount Kenya TV presenter Grace Mwai has resigned from the station after working at the station for two years.

The presenter confirmed her from the station owned by the family of Kirinyaga Woman Representative Purity Wangui Ngirici.

Mwai who is also a popular gospel musician hosted a popular show on the station Tumugoce.

"For the two years I've hosted this programme it has been the Grace and goodness of God. He has never left me. He has always spoken oracles to tell the people.

"The tears, the triumphs, the lows, have been worth it and all I can say it's been God all the way. I'm glad I did it for Him," she stated.

She went on to thank her fans who had supported her from when she joined the media house and sent her best wishes to her replacement.

"Thank you all for the support and the love you have accorded me. The program shall continue just not with me. I wish the next host the very best. You have my blessing and prayers," she added.

Prior to joining Mount Kenya TV, Mwai was a host on Inooro TV for the Rurumuka program.

Earlier in December 2020, anchor Muthoni Mukiri exited Inooro TV after working at the station for five years.

Muthoni, who hosts prime time news on the station made the announcement on her social media pages on Friday, December 18.

"It's been an amazing five years, but my journey at Inooro TV has come to an end. I want to thank you my fans, my supporters, my friends and everyone who has supported me during that journey. I will miss you dearly," she stated.

Similarly, Joyce Omondi exited Switch TV a week earlier.
