194 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 from a sample size of 3,935 tested in the last 24 hours.
This takes Kenya's cumulative confirmed positive cases to 104,500.
In a statement on Tuesday, February 22, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe disclosed that the total tests conducted so far are 1,273,281.

The youngest is a six-year-old child while the eldest is 95 years.
39 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours. Total recoveries now stand at 85,665.
Sadly, 10 patients have succumbed to the disease pushing our cumulative fatality to 1,837.
There are 344 patients currently admitted to various health facilities countrywide, while 1,283 patients are on Home Based Isolation and Care.
55 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 26 of whom are on ventilator support and 23 on supplemental oxygen.
6 patients are on observation. Another 9 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen with all of them in the general wards.
No patient is in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).

On the same day, clinical officers suspended their 70-day strike following a court order. This was as directed by the chairman of Kenya Union of Clinical Officers (KUCO), Peterson Wachira.
He mentioned that the clinical officers would obey the court order issued by Justice Maureen Onyango, despite their demands left unmet.
“The Council of Governors, which is the pivotal institution in the implementation of devolution. government guidelines, policies and statutes in the counties has negated its constitutional advisory and guidance mandate to the County Governments by declining to sign the Return to Work Formula (RTWF) negotiated centrally under the guidance of ministry of labor."
"It is sad to note that even as Clinical Officers and other health workers resume duties, the employers have not addressed our grievances on unsafe working environment, a fact that puts our members in the harm’s way even as they resume duty,” Wachira stated.
