Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko threw a mega birthday for his daughters Saumu and Sandra.
The party which happened over the weekend was held at his exquisite Mua Hills home in Machakos County.
The two girls whose dates of births are close felt like the Easter celebrations provided a good opportunity to celebrate their birthdays.
“With each birthday that passes, you amaze me more and more. You have turned out to be such an intelligent, fun, and caring person who has so much going on for them in life. I’m excited to see what the future holds for you. Happy birthday, my darling daughter, I love you always,“ Sonko wished Sandra.
“Happy Birthday My Love, Saumu Mbuvi. It makes me proud to see u grow up to be a strong, independent, and kind woman. My Babygirl we love you today, tomorrow, and always...Happiest Birthday,” Primrose wished Saumu.
Photos and videos seen by Kenyans.co.ke showed the family making merry, popping champagne, and cutting the two cakes.
Sandra is the youngest and little known while Saumu is the eldest and commands media attention just like their father.
Saumu recently announced the decision to follow in the former governor’s footsteps by joining politics.
"I want to join politics like my dad, and actually, I will vie for a woman representative in the next General Election. He is a father and a good dad," she said in a recent interview with The Standard.
Other than politics, Saumu has borrowed a leaf from her father’s property business.
Saumu founded her own company which sells real estate properties just like Sonko did before he got into elective politics.
According to her company’s online profile, she specializes in selling beach properties which range between Ksh 8 million and Ksh 30 million.
The company owns plots and houses in Lamu, Malindi, Diani, and Mombasa towns along the Indian Ocean.
