A video of Jubilee Vice Chair, David Murathe, admitting that the party had long planned to kick out Deputy President William Ruto and his allies has emerged.

The video, recorded during a recent meeting between the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga and Murang'a youth at a city hotel, shows Murathe outlining the ruling Jubilee's plan moving forward.

In the Wednesday, August 4 video, Murathe reassures the former Prime Minister that Jubilee Party will enter into a coalition with ODM in a bid to secure victory in the 2022 General Election.

In addition, Murathe, who is one of President Uhuru Kenyatta's allies, stated that their next plan is to kick DP Ruto's allies out of the vote-rich Mt Kenya region.

"ODM structures are ready. Our job (Jubilee) was to chase these people from Jubilee and that we have done because they have left. They have gone to UDA (United Democratic Alliance). Now, our next job is to chase them from Mt Kenya," stated Murathe.

Murathe, further, campaigned for ODM leader Raila Odinga saying that he would be the fifth President of Kenya.

He noted that every time the Mt Kenya and Nyanza regions worked together, they never lost an election.

"I have already told Jakom (Raila) to prepare because he will be the fifth President. Those who have eyes can see."

"There is no one who has a problem with Raila in Mt Kenya. Sift the noise that the Tanga Tanga members are making because only a few MPs are from the faction in Mt Kenya," he added.

His sentiments were not taken lightly by Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua who sympathised with Uhuru's advisers saying that they were doing a poor job.

"If our President has taken such advise, that it is possible to chase us, elected Members of Parliament from Mt. Kenya and replace us with ODM, then I admit that I no longer know the Uhuru Kenyatta I supported for twenty years and voted for four times," Gachagua stated.
