Wavinya Ndeti wowed many Kenyans when she made an attempt at car karaoke with her daughter on Saturday, August 28.
In a video seen by Kenyans.co.ke, the Transport Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) is seen sharing a light moment with one of her daughters at the back seat of a vehicle.
The two are seen sitting side by side in a vehicle singing along to their favourite song in a mother, daughter moment.
Wavinya had her and her daughter through a song, referred to each other as the best while singing along to the song 'Simply the best' by Tina Turner.
"You're simply the best, better than all the rest, better than anyone, anyone I have ever met,' mother and daughter sang to each other.
Kenyans were impressed with Wavinya's singing skills but more so by her daughter who sang a song word for word, which was a hit during her mother's youthful days.
Taking to the comment section, some expressed envy over the moment shared between the mother and daughter. They also commended them for their looks and beauty.
However, some could not look past the grammatical error made by the former gubernatorial candidate for Machakos County in her caption. While they lauded the duo for their great performance, they also corrected the governor's grammar.
They faulted Wavinya for stating "I and Princess" instead of the other way round. Ndeti responded to one of the comments insisting that the statement was correct.
"Point of correction mwesh, princess and I," read the comment.
Wavinya gained popularity with her mixing up of common phrases with her latest incident being on July 22.
She mixed up a popular Swahili proverb when she stated 'Utumwa sio heshima' instead of 'Heshima sio utumwa'.
Popularly known for her 'Yaliyo ndwele sipite', many now claim that the CAS now intentionally makes the errorsas part of her brand.
