Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader, Musalia Mudavadi, is set to make a grand announcement, on Sunday, January 23, at the Bomas of Kenya.

In his recent addresses to the media, the former Vice President declared that his announcement would cause a political tremors and send shock waves across the country.

While political pundits point towards the launch of his presidential bid, the ANC party leader has kept his cards close to his chest, leaving Kenyans second-guessing about what pronouncement he is most likely to make.

Nonetheless, in days leading to the Mudavadi's big day, some of the ANC party members have given a hint of what Kenyans should expect.

According to the party's Secretary General, Simon Kamau, the former Vice President will launch his five-point manifesto.

"We are going to be  launching our manifesto, which is anchored on five pillars: a better economy, better devolution, better relationships, better leadership and a better economy," he revealed.

On the other hand, Kakamega Senator, Cleophas Malala, claimed that his party boss will unveil his newly found political allies

“We are not only going to launch Mudavadi’s presidential campaign but also disclose his political allies. All Kenyans of goodwill and those who share our political ideology are invited,” the Senator stated.

ANC invited more than 6,000 delegates to attend the event. Notably, they left out their competitors including other One Kenya Alliance (OKA) co-principals; Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper, Moses Wetangula of Ford Kenya and Gideon Moi of KANU.

The party official stated that the co-principals will only be allowed access to the event if they declared support for a Mudavadi Presidency.

"We have made it very clear, OKA will only make sense if the presidential candidate is none other than his 'earthquakeness', Musalia Mudavadi," the party Secretary General declared.

Malala clarified that Deputy President, William Ruto, who has been knocking on Mudavadi's door, is also not been invited.

“We have not invited our competitors. This NDC is only for ANC and her political friends.

“Being alive to the fact that we are going into a battle, we need to prepare enough to handle our opponents. We cannot, therefore, invite the same competitors to our strategy meeting,” Malala emphasized.

Meanwhile, ANC released a video ahead of the grand announcement:
