A video of Timothy Kimani popularly known as Njugush has gone viral on various social media platforms with the renowned comedian acting as Kenya's president.

In the video titled, 'A joke as the President', the comedian addressed issues affecting the country calling out Kenyans and the leadership for the current problems.

From embezzlement of public funds to poor governance, the comedian satirically narrated how millions of Kenyans were suffering as a result of bad leadership.

Further, he gave suggestions of how he would have addressed some of the issues if he was the occupant of the house on the hill as the Head of State.

"The first thing is about land. This is very funny in this country. Every day we toil hard to find somewhere to build and raise our children but on the other hand, you find people who have huge tracks of land.

"What if we subdivide the land and sold it at a standard price so that we get money and use it to pay for our loans? I know, it is a good joke," he stated.

Just like ordinary press briefings Njugush addressed questions fielded by journalists, giving his opinion about the ongoing political conversation of 'sipangwingwi'.

He reminded Kenyans that they would continue suffering if they failed to wake up and take action against poor leadership in the August 9 polls.

"Unless we (jipanga) plan for ourselves we shall forever remain (pangwad) boxed to people's plans," he stated.

After the video went viral, a section of Kenyans took to social media to comment on the comedian's creativity and flawless narration, sharing their views on his clip.

"If you listen to Njugush's jokes, especially this one, you see a lot of sense in everything he's said here. A man full of Wisdom!," Oketch James stated.

"People should listen to this. What else do we need to understand? Good people, I feel it is time we end the nonsense in this country! Our votes will count. We need to do something! Thanks, Njugush! You are playing your part! Keep it up!" Jerry Matthew concurred.
