Football in the country has been marred with confusion after CS Amina disbanded the federation that was led by Nick Mwendwa.
She took the drastic step after receiving a report on the investigations into the massive fraud reported at the body.Sports CS Amb. Amina Mohammed Delivering Her Speech at the Team Betika Launch at Nyayo Stadium on June 4,2021Kenyans.co.ke
The audit report was presented to her by Sports Registrar, Rose Wasike. In her report, Wasike recommended further investigations be carried out into the financial books of the federation.
Following the recommendations, Amina went ahead to install a caretaker committee to lead the government's efforts to reform the body.
