NTV is set to launch a new show that will be hosted by their Digital and Innovations editor, Dann Mwangi every Friday at 9 pm.

Dubbed News Court, the show is a replica of a courtroom and will allow its audience members to raise concerns about issues affecting them.

The main purpose of launching the show, according to NTV is to give a chance to Kenyans whose voices are often neglected.

Issues that will be discussed range from the rising cost of living to insecurity and elections.

"Many cases of wananchi are facing matters of human and public interest. We need to dissect and prosecute them. So why not do so before a court?

"We'll! NTV's News Court has docked and will be in session this and every Friday at 9 pm. I'm your host, see you in court!" Mwangi stated.

On his part, multimedia editor, Oliver Mathenge stated that the show will be informative and give Kenyans the opportunity to make better choices in their undertakings.

"We lay down the facts on all matters Kenyan and you will be the judge," he added.

NTV has been running the preview of the show depicting how it will run after its launch tonight.

Additionally, some of NTV's seasoned journalists such as their crime reporter Leila Mohammed will be featured.

In recent weeks, the media house has launched new shows as they streamline their programmes to pre-election coverage.

On June 23, the station unveiled the Front and Centre show hosted by Ben Kitili who joined the station from the Standard Media Group last year.

Other shows included the rebranded AM Live Show hosted by Mark Masai, Winnie Lubembe, Olive Burrows and Zeynab Ismail.
