Seasoned Kameme TV presenter, Jeff Njoroge, has exited Mediamax Limited after twenty years of service.

Speaking on Tempire YouTube Channel, Njoroge noted that the transition from the company followed the need for growth, noting that he sought an opportunity to gain new experiences.

He noted that he picked Gicicio FM as the next level of his career, taking the new path as a challenge in his quest to bring the station to the limelight.

"In life, there is always a transition. So even in careers, you ought to transition to another level for growth," he stated.

Njoroge, who christened himself First Officer, noted that his time at Mediamax dates back to Regional Reach Limited - a time when the company was owned by Rose Kimotho.

Njoroge is renowned for hosting the Kigwa Kuhihwo Murio show on Kameme TV. He also hosted MugithiLive alongside DJ Qariz Kenya on the same station.

In June 2021, the presenter survived a grisly road accident after his car collided with another vehicle along the Thika Superhighway.

Reports indicated that both cars landed in a ditch a few metres from the OJ area in Ruiru constituency. The journalist, however, escaped with minor injuries.

"It’s true I was involved in an accident this evening along the bypass. However, I am safe and I thank God for life," he stated at the time.

Mediamax has recently lost renowned Kikuyu presenters who have jumped ship to other media houses.

Kimotho, an established media mogul, recently launched 91.0FM that has poached Kameme FM presenters including Moses Kanyira, Peninah Muthoni Mbugua alias PM Squared, Evans Wanyoike, Njeri Wa Njenga, Wambui Wa Maingi and Machangi Man Solo Papa.

The former 3-Stones TV presenter, Njoroge Wa Gichini, also joined the fray as a radio show host.
