Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioners remain a topic of discussion especially after their fallout over presidential election results.

Away from their conduct and the chaotic scenes at the Bomas of Kenya and their acrimonious exit from office, little is known about their education background, especially the schools they attended.

Kenyans.co.ke has, however, established that some of the commissioners went to ordinary and little-known public and private institutions for their elementary education.

Wafula Chebukati

He is the immediate former Chairman of the IEBC, a position he took over in 2017 from from Ahmed Issack Hassan, who was hounded out of office, by the opposition after 2013 elections.
