Kenya National Commission for UNESCO (KNATCOM) has announced job vacancies across various job grades.
KNATCOM is a government corporation formed to promote Kenya’s national interests in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
It also promotes UNESCO's international interests in Kenya, regionally and globally in the areas of education, sciences, culture, and communication and information.
In a notice published on the UNESCO website, the organisation invited qualified candidates to submit their applications, for permanent and pensionable jobs.
Job Openings
The positions- which include entry-level to senior jobs- range from HR managers, internal audit officers, accountants, office administrators, drivers, customer care assistants, office assistants, and corporate communications officers among others.
Salary and Remuneration
The salary capping for the openings starts from Ksh34,000 to a maximum of Ksh450,840. The terms and remuneration benefits for these positions include among others leave and medical allowances and group life covers.
The job openings provide equal opportunity for all levels. In the case of principal drivers opening, the salary ranges from Ksh56,521-Ksh87,827.
The remunerations will also include a leave allowance worth 30 per cent of the basic salary and medical assistance.
Requirements
Part of the requirements for this vacancy includes a minimum KCSE grade of C- (minus), a certificate in a customer care course from a recognised institution and job experience for a period specified by the job grade.

Candidates are advised to apply before Thursday, October 13, at 5.00 pm.
