Police have disclosed the cause of the accident that left three Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) soldiers dead and 17 others injured in a tragic accident along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.

Confirming the incident, Kuresoi North Sub County Police Commander Juddah Gathenge noted that the truck full of KDF soldiers veered off the road, landing into a ditch on the opposite side of the road.

He cited faulty breaks as the main cause of the accident, stating that the driver struggled to keep the vehicle on the highway.
