IEBC commissioner Boya Molu and former nominated MP, David Sankok, are among 108 Kenyans that were added to the list of shortlisted candidates eying principal secretary jobs.
Molu and Sankok's name was published in a revised list released by the Public Service Commission(PSC) on Saturday, October 8.
Also included in the list was former Kisauni MP, Ali Mbogo, who was to be former Nairobi governor, Mike Sonko's, running mate in the Mombasa gubernatorial race.
Sonko was, however, barred from contesting in the August 9 polls.
Former executive director of Kenya’s Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) Board, Fazul Mohamed, was also included in the new list.
The revision by PSC comes a day after it published the names of 477 candidates shortlisted for interviews.
PSC explained that it cancelled the list published on Friday, October 7, to make the process more inclusive.
"The Commission has reviewed the number of shortlisted candidates to deepen inclusivity in regards to gender, the marginalised and minority groups.
"Also considered in the revised list are the youth and Persons Living With Disability (PLWD) in accordance with Article 232 (h) of the Constitution," read the notice in part.
Prominent people who had been shortlisted earlier included Wafula Chebukati's wife, Mary Wanyonyi, and outgoing Health Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Mercy Mwangangi.
Also on the list were former Narok Governor Samuel Tunai and former Lang'ata MP Nixon Korir.
The 585 candidates are set to be interviewed from October 12 before a final list is submitted to President William Ruto for consideration.
