Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti got the pleasant surprise of her life when internet sensation, Moya David paid her a visit on Tuesday, November 8.
Moya, known for surprising his targets with beautiful gifts, stole the show with his skills and choreography.
Wavinya could not hide her joy as the crowd cheered on at an event held in Athi River.
"This is so interesting and surprising," she was heard exclaiming.
The governor further disclosed that the surprise was planned by her team.
"See who came to surprise me during the Public Participation forum at Athi River Ward. This really caught me off guard.
"My team masterminded this and pulled the best surprise ever. Thank you so much. Nawapenda (I love you).
Wavinya, let on marked her birthday by engaging with Machakos Machakos County residents on the final day of a two-week long Public Participation forum.
"I thank God for blessing me with another year.
"This is another chance for me to serve our great County of Machakos residents," she stated on her social media pages. Wavinya, a businesswoman, currently serves as the second governor of the County.
She previously served as a Member of Parliament for the Kathiani Constituency and an assistance minister in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
In August 2022, Wavinya won the Machakos County gubernatorial race after unsuccessfully contesting for the position twice.
