Revealing on how the clip began trending, he explained how he had gone for late lunch with his colleagues only for the song to be played and he couldn't resist.

“The video was not planned. During our undercover mission, I heard the song and since I love it I began dancing and that's when a random person recorded me and the video went viral,” he stated.

Migun stated that the clip has helped him in his daily work which involves working with the youth.

Being a person who has been fighting drugs in the community, the assistant chief noted he is now able to identify those involved as they interact freely with him.

Not only the youths but parents have also lined up in his office to report cases of drug abuse in society.

“The video has helped me very much in my work as the youth and parents are now free to come to my office to report crimes.

"It has given me easy outreach to the community. I love my work as assistant chief,” he uttered.

Migun announced that it was not the first time he was trending, albeit not through dancing or music.

“I have been trending previously but through basketball, since I am an international basketball coach,” he stated.

Born and raised in Kisumu, the viral dancing chief noted that he is well known by his nickname, Baby, which was given to him by his grandmother.

“You know if you hear someone being called baby it means they are beautiful or handsome. I will not drop that name and I will stick to my job because I have a passion for it,” he announced.
