Northern Sub-Location Assistant Chief John Ogilo Migun, who went viral with his dancing skills at an entertainment joint was tasked with promoting Huduma Center Services in Kisumu.
In a video seen by Kenyans.co.ke, on Saturday, January 21, Ogilo was filmed dancing alongside Huduma Center officials outside the Provisional Headquarters Building in Milimani.
The Assistant Chief, who also donned a Huduma Center shirt, then advertised the services offered at the government facility.
Ogilo announced the opening hours of the facility urging Kenyans to seek various govt services from the institution.
In a bid to target the youth, the viral chief spoke in Sheng as they danced to the Kuna Kuna song.
"The services are now from 7 am to 7 pm. You can come from work and come to Huduma Centre to get your services.
"At the same 7 pm, you can also Kuna Kuna," he stated as he broke into a dance.
However, other details of the deal such as the payment and contract timelines were not revealed.
Ogilo was rewarded with the new role barely days after he landed deals with travel agencies that fully sponsored his tour to the coastal towns.
He previously revealed that the video that brought him overnight fame was shot randomly as he was on an undercover assignment.
"The video was totally random I had not planned for it. We had finished doing our patrol in the evening.
"We went to have late lunch then we entered there where we were conducting some undercover investigations," Ogilo stated.
Kenyans urged government administrators to emulate Ogilo and find new ways of interacting with the youth to improve the relationship between the two parties.
