Popular televangelist Pastor James Maina Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism unveiled a new luxury church bus bought by members of the church.

Through his social media platforms, Ng'ang'a presented the bus to his congregation as he drove it outside the church premises.

"The bus is finally here. Thank you for your continued support," the televangelist announced.

He was pictured driving the bus on Sunday, January 29 as members of his church stood outside. The televangelist ferried some children from the church outside the church premises.

The controversial pastor had earlier urged his congregation to donate money to help buy the bus noting that the old one was bought in 2001 and had diligently served the church.

"Any coin you will help in buying this bus will be buying a share of the blessing," he appealed.

"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver," he added quoting 2 Corinthians 9:9-8.

When he first presented the bus to the church, the televangelist noted that his wife and children rode in it headed to the church.

"The bus has a toilet, I have never seen a bus like this one before," the pastor remarked.

The all-white luxury bus has a television set and a toilet that can be accessed through a staircase behind some of the seats.

Additionally, the toilet has a well-organised wash area with a rectangular mirror, a sink, toilet paper rolls, and a soap dispenser.

According to Ng'ang'a, the bus is expected to ferry congregants to crusades among other church activities.

It is decorated with beautiful floral curtains and all-tinted windows as well as a green number plate.

In addition, the bus has colorful seats that recline for the comfort of his congregation.
