In addition, the Kiharu legislator announced that his programme will cater for changes in feeding schedules for schools in the constituency that will see the students have three days of githeri and three days of rice.

Also included in the Masomo Bora programme is the introduction of meals on Saturdays for all learners. The meals, according to the MP, will include tea or porridge at 10 am and lunch as a way to optimise on time for learning.

Further, the Kiharu NG - CDF allocated Ksh60 million for infrastructural development and to revamp the existing infrastructure in all day Schools in the constituency.

Students are also expected to benefit from a Ksh10 million programme aimed at providing revision materials for all day schools in his constituency.

The Programme, he noted, will cover all constituents placed in day schools in Kiharu and students from other constituents placed in schools within the constituency.

In his speech, Nyoro lauded the achievement- noting that it would contribute towards the betterment of education in Kiharu's schools.

"Today is among the most consequential days in our leadership role. We launched the Kiharu Masomo Bora Programme that will contribute meaningfully to the Quality of education in our Day Secondary Schools," Nyoro noted.
