The National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K) on Tuesday, April 11, announced job opportunities for senior managers at the institution. 
 
The institution that trains Kenyan military personnel, stated that they were looking for qualified people to fill in the vacancies in various positions, advertised on media platforms. 
 
"Pursuant to the provisions of Section 35(1)(a)(1) and Section 24(4) of the Universities Act 2012 (Revised 2020), the National Defence University-Kenya invites applications from suitably qualified persons to be considered," KDF announced. 
 
Among the positions that were announced by NDU-K  were Chief Internal Auditor, Senior Internal Auditor and Deputy Director of Corporate Communication.

Others include Senior Quality Assurance Officer, Systems Librarian, Senior Accountant, Accountant and Senior Assistant Director Supply Chain Management Services. 
 
NDU-K also announced employment opportunities for in the positions of Senior Human Resource Officer and Principal Information, Communication Technology Officer. 
 
How to Apply:
 
NDU-K asked interested applicants to seek for further information and directions on application modalities on the University website, ww.ndu.ac.ke. 
 
However, the university warned that the applications are free to all eligible candidates, and bribery and other acts of corruption are against the law.
 
The university stated that anyone suspected of being culpable of such crimes will be arrested and prosecuted in a court of law.
 
On Tuesday, 22 March 2022, the National Defence University published the names of 12 shortlisted candidates for managerial positions in four categories.
 
Those shortlisted included a Deputy Vice-Chancellor, a University Librarian, a Registrar and a Director of Finance and Accounts.
 
NDU-K was established under Section 24 of the Universities Education Act, 2012 on 27 May 2021. It offers specialized certificates, diplomas and degrees in areas related to Defence and security, as well as other dimensions of security. 
 
The University is based at Lanet, Nakuru County.
