Gun-wielding robbers attacked a Nakuru-based Gospel radio station on Thursday, May 11, while its evening presenters were live on air.

In a video seen by Kenyans.co.ke, the radio presenters of Mwinjoyo FM were having a good time entertaining their listeners when a gang of three hooded men walked in.

“Zima hio kitu. Zima haraka! (Switch off that thing. Switch it off quickly!),” ordered one of the robbers as his accomplices proceeded to ransack the studio.

The presenters were then ordered to lie down as the men walked around their studio.

“Ni nini unafanya wewe? (What are you doing?)” asked one of the robbers before kicking one of the presenters who was already lying on the ground.

The chilling three-minute video showed one of the men with a rifle while another walks around with a machete.

“Nani ako huko juu? (Who is upstairs?)” the gang asked the presenters repeatedly.

Throughout the ordeal, they kept checking the entrance just in case somebody walked in on them.

After a few minutes inside the studio, they realised that their nefarious activity could have been captured on CCTV.

“Where is the CCTV? Where is the CCTV?” they asked.

The victims wisely complied and showed them where the CCTV was.

“And you are on Facebook Live,” they asked.

At that point, they took the phone that was recording the theft and switched it off.

The gang members had masks to conceal their identities. They made away with phones and other gadgets from the studio.
