PSC Shortlists Candidates for 700 Govt Jobs; How to Check

The Public Service Commission (PSC) on Thursday, June 15, published a list of shortlisted candidates set to fill 700 slots in the National Treasury and State Department of Correctional Services.

In a statement, PSC indicated that individuals who applied for the opportunities could make the verification by accessing the website and logging into the recruitment portal.

"This is to inform you that the Commission has shortlisted and commenced interviews for Probation Officer II (CSG 11) V. No. 1/2022 vacancies advertised on 5th April 2022.

"If you applied for the position, kindly check your portal for updates and interview dates," PSCadvised.

On April 2, the Public Service Commission (PSC) announced 700 job vacancies in its latest job advertisement.

In particular, PSC called on applicants to submit their documents for the positions of Probation Officer II for the State Department For Correctional Services and Supply Chain Management Officer II for The National Treasury.

The number of vacancies available for Probation Officer II is 400 and 300 vacancies for the Supply Chain Management Officer II post.

Interested and qualified persons were required to make the applications online before the deadline pegged on April 25, 2023, at 5 pm.

How to Check

Here are the steps on how to check shortlisted candidates on the Public Service Commission (PSC) portal:

1. Go to the PSC website: www.publicservice.go.ke.

2. Click on Jobs on the top navigation bar.

3. Under Jobs, click on Shortlisted Candidates.

4. A list of all the shortlisted candidates for the current recruitment exercise will be displayed.

5. You can search for your name or other identifying information to see if you were shortlisted.

Please note that PSC may update the list of shortlisted candidates at any time, so it is important to check back frequently.

Here are some additional tips for checking your shortlisted status:

1. Make sure you are using the correct username and password when logging into the PSC portal.

2. If you have forgotten your username or password, you can reset it by clicking on the Forgot your username or password? link on the login page.

3. If you are still having trouble checking your shortlisted status, you can contact the PSC Customer Care Center at +254 20 271 3000.
