For the fourth consecutive year, Kenyans.co.ke has been recognised among Kenya's leading news sites by Reuters Institute Digital News Report.

The recently released 2023 edition ranked this innovative digital news platform fifth among the most reputable publications locally. Furthermore, the report highlighted that Kenyans.co.ke attained a digital reach of 36 per cent in Kenya, with a substantial number of news consumers visiting the site multiple times weekly.

The report also revealed that Kenyans.co.ke received approval from respondents within the commercially lucrative 18 to 50-year-old advertising demo, particularly among individuals with higher levels of formal education.

This finding serves as a testament to the organisation's commitment to its mission of delivering timely and reliable news.

Comprised of a team of professional journalists, the digital company produces original news articles encompassing various topics, including politics, sports, business, technology, and general news.

This propelled Kenyans.co.ke to be one of the fastest-growing media organisations nationwide.

On Twitter, the news organisation boasts over 1.4 million followers, positioning it as the fastest-growing Kenyan media company.

Kenyans.co.ke boasts the highest engagement rate among media organisations on Instagram. Additionally, it stands out as one of the few media organisations that get verified on TikTok.

Furthermore, Kenyans.co.ke's commitment to promoting media literacy is evident through its status as LinkedIn's most followed media organisation, reinforcing its dedication to sharing credible and relevant information.

In its report, Reuters also indicated that trust in news remained high in Kenya at 63 per cent compared to other countries.

The study further observes that the Kenyan media has achieved this by remaining independent amidst a polarised political environment

In terms of weekly reach, other media organisations that made it to the top five included Citizen TV, Daily Nation, Tuko, and Opera News.

Other outlets that recorded a drop in online engagement were KTN News, the Standard, NTV Online and Citizen Radio.
