Kim Musau embarked on an audacious and epic expedition that redefined the limits of exploration by travelling from Nairobi to Portugal in under six months.

While issuing updates on his platforms, to the delight of his social media followers, Musau revealed that he had successfully crossed Casablanca in Morocco and traversed through Spain to his destination, Portugal.

The intrepid traveller indicated that the exploration was demanding as it drained his coffers. He appealed to Kenyans online for financial assistance as he seeks to fly the Kenyan flag abroad.

"This solo exploration hasn't been easy, my pockets are empty but my heart is full," he stated.

The Kenyan motorist earned CNN International Correspondent Larry Madowo's admiration for his boundless determination and insatiable thirst for discovery.

"I ran into a Kenyan car in Portugal! Kim Musau has been on the road for six months. He left Nairobi and drove to Namibia, then along the coastline to Morocco, ferried to Spain and now he’s here. Are you not jealous?" Madowo enquired.

With unwavering resolve, Musau embarked on an extraordinary journey aboard his customised Land Rover, documenting each milestone he achieved.

"I found another party scene here in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. I camped next to these overlanders with a mega truck from the Netherlands. And yes, by the beach. The breeze."

"I took some more days here. It's a great stopover for every traveller especially those going for the train ride experience - The iron ore train!!. Man, the stories here. I'm happy I canceled that plan," he indicated.

He advised motorists inspired by his awe-inspiring journey to commit to more than 20 hours of relentless driving daily to achieve such a fete.

"I think it's an extreme adventure. But fun I think. If you decide to ride the whole journey, it will be 20hrs+ (night and day). Seated and sleeping on iron ore."

"You may need hours of repeated shower over some days to get clean," he stated.

Musau expressed his wish to continue his journey to Europe before returning to Nairobi.
