Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday, July 30, gave out Ksh500,000 to cater to a party at Alliance Boys High School in Kikuyu.

Gachagua made the remarks while touring the school alongside other leaders for a Sunday service as well as the launch of various projects. The DP also promised to reward Alliance Girls High School at a later date.

"It is a pleasure joining the school's fraternity as the institution looks forward to marking 100 years of touching lives since its establishment in 1926.

"Our coming here was not in vain. I talked to the captain and you know I understand some things, do you want me to plan a party for you? I have heard you need a special diet of chicken and chapati and I offer Ksh500,000 for the same," Gachagua stated amid cheers.
