Raburu is a versatile presenter who is known for his charisma and his ability to connect with audiences. He is also a savvy entertainer. He will be expected to leverage his youthful touch to rake in the numbers for TV47

Following his 13-year stint at Citizen TV, Raburu proves to be a marquee acquisition for TV47, which has invested heavily with the intention of finally competing with mainstream media channels. To this end, the media stable has poached top talent  from other media houses, including KTN News and Radio Maisha.

At Citizen TV, Raburu worked as a presenter, digital and communication consultant and influencer. He is best known for hosting the TV show "10 over 10" on Citizen TV and the radio show "Mid Morning" on Hot 96.

Raburu was born in Nairobi, Kenya, in 1989. He attended St. Mary's School in Nairobi and later joined Moi University, where he studied Communication.

After graduating, he joined Citizen TV as a news reporter before quickly rising through the ranks to become a 1pm news anchor and later a prime time news presenter.

Following this milestone, he would continue to build on his success. He moved to Hot 96, where he hosted the "Mid Morning" show. In 2020, he started hosting the 10 Over 10 show, which quickly became one of Kenya's most popular TV shows.

In addition to his work in media, Raburu has worked with several brands on their marketing and communications strategies. He is also a social media influencer with nearly 1 million followers on various social media platforms.

Raburu, in July 2023, was appointed as Nairobi Governor Sakaja's Communications Director, responsible for managing press relations and developing contacts with media personalities and influencers.

By the time of publishing this piece, it was not clear whether Raburu would continue his role at the county while hosting his new show on TV47
