K24 Anchor Kelvin Kimathi Quits After 3 Years

K24 TV sports anchor and producer Kelvin Kimathi alias K-Squared has announced his exit from the media house after serving for three years.

Kimathi revealed that his journey as a sports journalist has been life-changing filled with growth and many memories.

"Today is my last working day at K24 TV. It has been an absolute honour and pleasure to play a role in the sports team for the last three years," he stated.

The journalist thanked his colleagues and the media house for the opportunity accorded to him to sharpen his skills and build his career.

During his tenure at the station, he hosted Jungu la Spoti, Daluga ya Spoti, EPL Maskani, La Liga Santimaa, Maskani ya Soka mong other sports shows.

Kinuthia bid his fans farewell after the 1 p.m. news bulletin, appreciating them for their continued support.

"I would not be here without my colleagues, management, and fans. We will definitely interact on other platforms out there, K-Squared is out," he signed off.

The media house wished the sports journalist all the best in his future endeavors in the industry and elsewhere.

"K24 TV Football Club is delighted to announce our creative midfielder Kelvin Kimathi has left the club on Monday by mutual consent. We are so proud of him. The club would like to wish him and his family all the best in the future as he takes on a new career challenge," wrote one of his colleagues.

Kinuthia has previously worked at Switch TV, for one year and three months, and at KTN News for a similar period.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Multimedia University of Kenya where he attended between 2014 - 2016.
