A civilian and a police officer engaged in a minor scuffle on Saturday after the Kenyan accused the law enforcement officer of scratching his car and breaking his side mirror.
A video recorded by the victim depicted the police officer driving his car attempting to drive off after the incident.
The victim, on the other hand, angered by the incident confronted the officer, calling him out, asking him why he had broken his mirror.
The driver who was on his way to take his daughter to the hospital questioned what gave the officer the right to break his vehicle and attempt to flee the scene without compensating him for the loss.
"Why have you broken my side mirror, who gives you the right?" the driver questioned.
However, the officer was agitated with the driver for recording the incident and sped off.
According to reports, the matter was reported at the Pangani Police Station but no action had been taken by the time of publishing this article.
The incident has angered a section of Kenyans who condemned the behavior of police officers harassing motorists on the road.
"The traffic police department should be bothered it has lost the trust of Kenyans," one person stated.
Others urged Kenyans to remain calm while dealing with police officers to avoid getting themselves in more trouble.
They also called upon the relevant authorities to come up with regulations to prevent motorists from being harassed by police officers.
