Staying informed about upcoming events is essential for efficient calendar planning. This enables you to participate and enjoy several of them without disrupting your schedule.

From the Olympics, Grand Prix races, and Marathons, 2024 has a lot more to offer.

Even though Kenyans will not participate in all events slated for 2024, the nation will expect its ambassadors to fly our flag higher in specific tourneys.

One of the main events to look forward to is the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2024.

Although the event will be hosted in Ivory Coast, it will be streamed in most entertainment joints in Kenya.

While the event has drawn a significant audience in the past, it is expected to quadruple, considering Kenya will be hosting the same event in 2027.

Kenyans will also be looking forward to the 2024 Summer Olympics, slated to be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11.

Sports fanatics and Kenyans, in general, are looking forward to the showpiece event since  Eliud Kipchoge and Kelvin Kiptum are expected to participate.

The two athletes will not only be looking to bag a gold medal but have also set their sights on being the first athletes to run a marathon in under two hours.

Kenyans will also be looking forward to the World Rally Champions (WRC) held annually in Naivasha, Nakuru County.

The event, which is usually held in August, pits safari rally drivers from across the world against each other, attracting thousands of spectators.

The rally provides an unparalleled thrill with its challenging dirt roads, breathtaking scenery, and exotic wildlife.
