NRG Show Host DJ Exclusive Resigns From Station Day After Mwalimu Rachel's Exit

UPDATE Wednesday, February 2: Former NRG radio show host Joram Ndege alias Dj Xclusive has officially joined Radio Africa Group, hours after announcing his departure at NRG.

Photos of the radio personality signing his contract at the media outlet were shared online by stations under the Radio Africa Group umbrella.

Notably, he is joining his former co-host Mwalimu Rachel who joined Radio Africa Group on March 26. The exact station they will be joining is yet to be known.

Radio Africa Group has several stations under its umbrella including Kiss 100, Classic 105 and Radio Jambo.

NRG radio show host Joram Ndege alias Dj Xclusive has tendered his resignation at the Westlands-based station, a day after the exit of his cohost Mwalimu Rachel.

In a notice dated March 27, the radio personality revealed that he had already served his resignation papers to the station's management.

He added that he was now focusing on the next step in his career.  However, he did not indicate whether he had already secured employment in another station.

Notably, he did not give the specific reason why he was leaving the station where he served for over five years

The DJ served at the station for six years alongside Mwalimu Rachel.

In his farewell message, he also thanked the management for giving him an opportunity to be on air.

"I hereby announce my resignation from the company. I am grateful for the opportunity given to me by the management. I bid farewell to my colleagues, Management and most importantly the fans who have tuned in every day for the last 6 years while I was on air.

"Thank you again to all the listeners and clients who have trusted and believed in me over the years," he stated

The DJ's resignation came hours after Mwalimu Rachel announced her exit from the station after landing a new role with the Radio Africa Group.

The exact station she will be joining is yet to be known given that Radio Africa Group has more than three radio stations under its umbrella.

The radio brands include include; Kiss 100, Classic 105 and Radio Jambo.

"Indeed I have resigned from NRG radio. It has been an incredible journey of six years and I'm grateful for the time there," she stated.

"I am eagerly anticipating the next chapter in my career, I look forward to announcing my new place of work and embarking on this exciting journey," she announced then.
