After months of flirting with the Opposition leaders, Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has now given the strongest hint that he would be heading to the National Super Alliance (NASA).
Ruto praised the NASA team, stating that their ideas were similar to those espoused by his Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM).
He, however, was quick to point out that he had not made up his mind as he wanted more than just ideas so he can join them. He did not give details on what he really wanted to cross over.
"I have not joined Nasa. Our ideas look similar, but I still need more than what they have, so as to join them. They have showed me 46 per cent of what they plan for Kenyans after August elections, but I need more than that,'' the vocal governor stated during a TV interview on Wednesday.
During the interview, the Bomet Governor did not have kind words for the Jubilee Party insisting that he had never been a member of the coalition.
"I have never been in Jubilee, and will never be. Our ideologies are very different, and I advise anyone in that party, to leave as soon as possible,'' he clarified.
