Brothers Brutally Killed as Parents Watch

Two brothers were killed on Friday morning as their parents watched in Homa Bay County.

Irate villagers of Nyangweso area stormed the home of Mr Evans Onyango Ouma, 25, and Daniel Ojijo, 20, and lynched them for allegedly killing a neighbour.

The locals also burnt down five semi-permanent homes and killed eight animals belonging to the family of the deceased.

They dragged Mr Ouma's body and set it on fire at Nyangweso trading centre before grabbing the brother and hacked him to death, Daily Nation reports.

The mob then carried Ojijo's body on a motorbike to where his the brother's was burning. Police arrived at the scene but could only watch helplessly as the bodies were being torched. 

Police took away the parents of the victim’s as the villagers were also baying for their blood.

The locals claimed that the brothers were behind a series of robbery incidents in the area.
