Drama ensued at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi, on Thursday when an alleged Chinese woman who was being deported turned violent.
Reports indicate that the woman went on a rampage destroying property at Kenya Airways check-in counter.
In photos circulating on social media, computers at the desk are seen overturned by the supposed woman though her face was not captured.
Unverified reports stated that it took the effort of police officers to restrain the said aggressive foreigner.
A source at the National Carrier confirmed to Kenyans.co.ke that the incident actually happened but could not reveal more details on the incident.
“The information is there but to get more on it is better if you are informed with people right at the airport,” the source divulged.
Efforts to contact JKIA were fruitless as the contact person to address the issue had not checked in by the time of reporting.
The incident received a lot of attention on social media with many expressing their shock on how a single woman could cause such damage.
