A 13 year old girl from Rongai, Kajiado county barely escaped with her life after ferocious dogs almost mauled her to death as she was headed to school.
Florence Tumeso had left her home at 6 am to get in school on time, little did she know that she would not make it there- at least not on Wednesday morning.
Seven German shepherds chased her for about 300 meters before wrestling her to the ground and biting her all over the body.
The little girl, being no match for the huge dogs did the only thing she could to save her life- screaming.
Residents living around the area heard her screams and rushed to save her.
She was taken to Nairobi West Hospital.
The girl is in stable condition and was able to recount her horrific tale to Citizen TV.
This is the second case in a week where dogs have attacked humans.
Barely two days before Tumeso's attack, a guard in Baba Dogo area was killed by the very dogs he worked with to protect the premises of his employer.
