Dennis Oliech Lands Multi-million Deal

Former Harambee Stars Captain Dennis Oliech is the new ambassador of gaming company, Betway.

The betting firm deal, estimated to be worth between Sh5 Million to Sh10 Million, hints towards the player's retirement from active football. 

Oliech expressed his excitement in a statement terming the move as a new phase in his career.

“Betway is a major brand that I am proud to be associated with. This is also a great opportunity for me to start another chapter of my career.” Oliech said.

The betting firm through its CEO Richard Akitt confirmed the 1-year agreement, describing it as a 'coup' for Betway. 

“Signing a Kenyan legend like Dennis Oliech is another significant coup for Betway and we’re looking forward to working with Dennis over the course of the next 12 months,” he said.

The striker, also known as Dennis the Menace, due to the troubles he caused many defenders remaining Kenya's all time finest after scoring 37 goals in 74 national team appearances.

Oliech has since played in the French Ligue 1 and 2, featuring for Nantes, Auxerre and Ajaccio.
