DPP: I have Evidence Against Pastor Ng'ang'a

Pastor James Ng’ang’a of the Neno Evangelism Ministry, will be arraigned in court to face charges of causing death through dangerous driving.

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), on Sunday, said there was sufficient evidence to warrant conviction against the pastor.

Tobiko noted that more witnesses had recorded statements with police officers and prosecutors handling the case.

He added that the Witness Protection Agency (WPA) had been roped into the case to ensure safety of witnesses.

The file against Pastor Ng’ang’a is set to be handed over to the DPP today, following completion  of investigations by a team Mr Tobiko had formed, compromising police, prosecutors and officers from the Witness Protectionn Agency.

Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinett handed over a file to the DPP, last week recommending charges against the pastor.

The televangelist is accused of causing an accident at Manguo area in Limuru, that killed a woman and left her husband seriously injured.

Ng'ang'a has since distanced himself from the claims, maintaining that he was neither behind the wheel nor does the range-rover, caught up in the accident, belong to him.
