Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i Orders Probe Into Principal's Sexual Row

Education Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i has ordered a probe into sexual harassment claims against Uhuru Secondary School Principal, Mr Duncan Juma.

Mr Juma is accused of harassing, assaulting and intimidating two female teachers at the school.

Dr Matiang’i issued the directive after the two teachers narrated to Capital FM how Mr Juma had ruined their lives, traumatised them and affected their families after they had turned down his sexual advances.

The teachers also explained that they lived in fear of being killed with the latest warning sent last week advising them to drop their classes or face unspecified action.

@kenyanpundit @CapitalFMKenya Sickening! I instructed the Nairobi RCE to follow-up immediately. Will accordingly liaise with TSC for action

The revelation raised a lot of reactions from online users who expressed disgust with principal's actions.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has asked for immediate, thorough and speedy investigation of the matter.
