Food Kenyan Journalists Ate In Pope Francis' Plane

The Kenyan Journalists who were honoured to fly in the Papal Plane Enroute to Nairobi from Vatican City, Italy, have offered a sneak peek into the meal they were served while on board Shepherd One.

Inside Pope Francis' plane, the team was served a breakfast of Ham from Parma, fresh cheese, a bowl of fruits, some yoghurt and croissants, Capital FM's Michael Mumo divulged.

In addition to that, a choice of either tea or coffee was provided.

Journalist, Mark Masai (NTV Anchor), Michael Mumo (Capital FM’s Editorial Director), Bernard Namunane (Daily Nation’s Chief Political Writer) and Ephy Mwangi (NTV Creative Editor), will fly with the Pope throughout his trip in Africa – Kenya, Uganda and the Central African Republic.

After the defining trip, the four Vatican Accredited Media Personnel (VAMP) from Kenya will again accompany the Holy Father back to Italy before returning to Kenya.

Pope Francis will be in Kenya until Friday November 27, afterwhich he will depart to Uganda before proceeding to the Central African Republic.
