Joe Kadenge Sends Message to Uhuru, Kibaki and Moi

Football legend Joe Kadenge has sent an emotional message to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his predecessors Mwai Kibaki and Daniel Moi.

Kadenge, who has been ailing for a while now, stated that as his last wish, he would love to have the audience of the three heads of state

"There are people in Government that I would like to meet. First and foremost, President Uhuru Kenyatta. I would also like to meet the retired Presidents too. You remember," the football icon stated.

In the heart moving video, Kadenge mentioned that this could be his last message before he died.

"It seems my body doesn't like me anymore. I would like to say goodbye to them so that if God calls me today, I will have an opportunity to say goodbye to them," a frail Kadenge said.

In October last year, the superstar associated with the phrase Kadenge na mpira, collapsed during a football match at Camp Toyoyo grounds in Jericho, Nairobi.

At the same time, on December 26, 2016, he was rushed to Metropolitan Hospital by fellow retired footballer George Sunguti after falling ill.

The former footballer has been grappling with diabetes and respiratory complications.
