Kabogo Unleashes His Armored Vehicles During President Uhuru Kenyatta's Tour of Kiambu County

Kiambu Governor William Kabogo on Wednesday unleashed his armoured vehicles during President Uhuru Kenyatta's visit of Kiambu County.

The Governor ensured that his fleet of armoured vehicles featured on President' entourage in the county presumably to impress the Head of State.

The convoy caused a scene as hundreds of residents curiously milled around to catch a glimpse of the classy and expensive vehicles.

Kabogo is seeking for re-election in the coming elections and is set to face off with his fierce rival, Kabete Member of Parliament Ferdinand Waititu, in the Jubilee Party nominations.

During the event, supporters of Kabogo and Waititu clashed in front of the President, forcing Uhuru to demand that the rivals groups put down banners promoting their preferred candidates.

A visibly agitated Uhuru would later say: "Both Kabogo and Waititu are my good friends. However, I have decided not to endorse any of them ahead of the Jubilee nominations so you can be the ones to decide who your next governor will be. We will have tea with the one who loses, but he will have to forget about leadership."
