Kamba leaders have demanded President Uhuru Kenyatta to reinstate suspended Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu to office.
The angry leaders said they did not understand why Ngilu remained suspended over corruption allegations, yet the Devolution and Planning Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru was still in office after being mentioned in similar claims.
The leaders from the Eastern region declared their support for the suspended CS who has since maintained her innocence over graft allegations in the lands ministry.
Ms Waiguru has been under immense pressure to resign after fraudulent payments worth Sh791 Million were identified at the National Youth Service which falls under her docket.
The Opposition has been critical of Waiguru demanding for her resignation while accusing the President of favouring the CS.

Ngilu was among five Cabinet Secretaries suspended by President Uhuru Kenyatta after a report released by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission implicating the leaders in graft was released and presented in parliament.
