Kenya Film CEO Ridiculed After Blocking Larry Madowo

NTV's Larry Madowo has once again attacked Kenya Film Commission Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua for blocking him on Twitter.

On Thursday morning, Madowo took to social media saying: “So Ezekiel Mutua blocked me on Twitter because I criticized his moral crusade,” with a screen shot to support the claims.

The statement immediately went viral with Twitter users taking the moment to ridicule the CEO who has put up a spirited fight against television content which he termed as morally inappropriate.

The Trend show host decried the move by Mutua accusing the KFCB boss of shying away from criticism.

“For the record, I too block people. But only if you insult me, not for criticism. You can tell me whatever as long as you don't abuse me. I'm a born again Christian. That doesn't mean I impose my beliefs on everyone,” he complained.

The two have in the past engaged each other after Madowo delved into Mutua's personal life following pictures he posted on Facebook while flying business class and another one in a classy lounge, dubbing his post as a 'Humble-brag'.

In reply, Mutua accused the news anchor of twisting the Facebook post to suit his talk, adding that he would keep thanking God for his achievements.

“If praising God on Facebook is bragging and will get me this kind of publicity, then keep it here for I am not ashamed of the gospel,” he wrote.
