Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been cautioned over recent support accorded to him by his former political rival Charity Ngilu.
Kitui Governor Julius Malombe claimed that Ngilu was using Musyoka's influence in her bid to clinch the county gubernatorial seat.
According to Malombe, the former Lands Cabinet Secretary was not genuinely offering her support for Musyoka's presidential, therefore, the Wiper leader should not form a political alliance with her.
“Ngilu’s body language betrays her. She is not genuine. She wants to use Kalonzo’s name to clinch the gubernatorial seat and then turn back to her former self,” he alleged.
The governor warned that Musyoka stood to lose by agreeing to work with Ngilu adding that she should have folded her party to join Wiper if her support for the former Vice President was genuine.
He claimed that Ngilu had conspired by area Senator David Musila, who is also eyeing the governorship position, in order to kick him out of office in the August 8 Election.
The governor was speaking following a declaration made by several Ukambani leaders, led by the Narc leader, vowing to back Musyoka's presidential bid.
The leaders, during a historic event in Emali, affirmed that they would not play second fiddle and would push to ensure the Wiper boss is named the National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer.
