Kwale County Bans Gay Tourists

Gay tourists will no longer be allowed in Kwale County.

This is after the county government took the initiative to ban them from visiting destinations within the area, according to a report by Classic 105.

The move is aimed at minimizing chances of the said tourists recruiting young men in the area into gay prostitution.

There have been complains in the past of young men being introduced to the practice through a collaborate effort by the tourists and hotel owners or workers seeking to make an extra coin from the illegal trade.

Many of the young men are underage and hardly know what they are getting themselves into until it is too late.

Poverty has also been a contributing factor to the prostitution of young men to gay tourists.

Many of the boys are blinded by the promise of money which is used to incite them into the trade.

The move by Kwale county government comes in the wake of the ongoing conversation around the topic of gaysim.

When asked to comment on the matter, President Uhuru Kenyatta dismissed the issue of gay rights in Kenya as a non issue, much to the criticism of the western press and the delight of religious groups in Kenya, as well as a majority of people in the country who have voiced their stand against gaysim in Kenya.
