Malik Obama Criticises Luo Community

US President Barack Obama’s elder brother Malik has attacked members of the Luo community over what he claimed was their refusal to tolerate alternative ideas.

The outspoken and controversial brother in the Obama family was responding to reports that his community’s elders had met to curse him over his fierce criticism of his popular American brother.

In response to the curse, Malik took to his Twitter account where he launched a series of tweets – all criticising members of his community.

“Kenya: People of the Luo tribe are so into themselves even when they are going down the creek without a paddle,” Malik tweeted.

He further claimed that members of his community were not tolerant to alternative opinions even though its leaders had engaged in opposition politics for decades.

In his characteristic tantrums, Malik disowned his ethnic heritage and stated that he was a member of the meme tribe.

President’s Obama’s elder brother has in the past attracted media attention after he supported Donald Trump in the US Presidential elections held last year.

In his endorsement to Trump, Malik continually maligned his brother’s legacy, even making personal attacks on his younger brother.

In 2013, Malik run a failed campaign to become Siaya Governor where he emerged a distant last with about 1 percent of the vote.
