A bicycle boda boda operator from Nakuru County is the newest millionaire in town.
25-year-old Anthony Karanja who hails from Murunyu area bagged Sh1,291,755 from a sports betting company, SportsPesa.
This is after he correctly predicted 12 out of 13 Jackpot games last week.
He only failed to win the entire jackpot because the match between Wolves versus Hull City game ended in a draw.
Karanja, however, understands that his was a stroke of luck that only comes to very few in life and says he will use the money to transform his life.
He now has his eyes set on expanding the transport business which has been his source of livelihood.
Karanja says he will use the prize money to buy his own fleet of motorcycles and spare some of the cash for other business ideas.
