As the political temperatures in the country continue to rise, Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has now disclosed an alleged plot to kill him.
Making the revelations on social media, Miguna stated that an assassin hired to carry out the ploy had been arrested.
"BREAKING NEWS: @KenyaPolice3 have arrested and will charge an assassin hired by the cartels to kill me on Monday. More are being sought," Miguna tweeted.
The former advisor to CORD leader Raila Odinga mentioned that he would be revealing the name of the killers and their masters on Monday.
"Names of the alleged assassin(s) will be disclosed on Monday together with those who hired them," he added.
Efforts by Kenyans.co.ke to get a comment from Mr Miguna were futile as calls to him went unanswered.
